Cheshire Cricket Coaching was created to give players access to high-quality coaching in a positive, professional environment.
We know that parents want coaching they can trust, and players need support that helps them improve without taking the enjoyment out of the game.
Our aim is to help players understand their game better, build confidence and keep making progress over time.
We do this through proven coaching methods, clear communication and a focus on the player in front of us.
How players develop
Every player develops at a different pace.
Some players need help with technique. Some need more confidence. Some need to understand the game better. Others need regular coaching in a positive environment.
Our coaching is shaped around the player, rather than short-term results or outside pressure.
We want players to improve their skills, make better decisions and enjoy their cricket more.

At Cheshire Cricket Coaching, we want every player to receive a high-quality experience, whichever coach or programme they are part of.
Our coaches work with a shared approach, so sessions are organised, supportive and focused on helping players improve.
This helps players and parents know what to expect.
Shaped by professional experience
Cheshire Cricket Coaching is guided by experience from professional cricket, international coach development and first-class player support.
The coaching programme is led by Nathan Wood, ex Lancashire professional cricketer, ECB Level 4 Master Coach and former Head of Coach Development for England Cricket.
His role is to guide the coaching team and help make sure players receive high-quality coaching across 1-to-1 sessions, group coaching and the Cheshire Performance Academy.
This helps ensure every player receives tailored, well-organised coaching, whichever coach or programme they choose.
Based at Mobberley Cricket Club
Most of our sessions are delivered at Mobberley Cricket Club.
The ground provides a calm, welcoming cricket environment for both 1-to-1 coaching and group sessions.
Mobberley Cricket Club is well placed for players and families travelling from across Cheshire and the surrounding areas.
