We help players improve their skills, grow in confidence and enjoy their cricket, whether they are just starting to take the game more seriously or already playing at a good level.
Our coaching team understands how to support players in all areas of the game — with sessions that are organised, encouraging and focused on long-term improvement.
Our why
Cheshire Cricket Coaching was created to give players access to high-quality cricket coaching in a positive, professional environment.
Led by Nathan Wood, a former Lancashire professional cricketer, ECB Level 4 Master Coach, and former Head of Coach Development for England Cricket, our coaching is shaped by experience at the highest level of the game.
That experience is used in a simple and practical way, so players understand what they are working on, why it matters and how it can help them improve.
Our aim is to help every player make progress, enjoy the process and keep developing over time.
Coaching built around the player
Every player is different.
Some players need help with technique. Some need more confidence. Some need to understand the game better. Others simply need regular coaching in a positive environment.

Sessions are planned with a clear focus, but delivered in a way that helps players feel supported, challenged and able to improve.

Coaching you can trust
At Cheshire Cricket Coaching, sessions are led by experienced coaches who understand both cricket and people.
Our coaching team includes ECB Level 3 and Level 4 qualified coaches, with experience across professional, county, pathway, club and junior cricket.
We work with a manageable number of players, so each player receives proper attention and support.
The coaching is calm, organised and focused on helping players improve in a way that is right for them.
Where we coach
Most coaching takes place in Cheshire, with the idyllic Mobberley Cricket Club as our primary base.
We work with players from across Cheshire and surrounding areas, providing a consistent coaching environment that prioritises safety, enjoyment and long-term improvement.
